This Privacy Policy describes how the Website Blocker Chrome extension ("we", "us", or "the extension") handles your data.
Long story short: We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data. Your browsing history and settings stay on your device.
We do not collect any personal information, browsing history, or usage data. The extension operates entirely locally on your machine.
The list of websites you choose to block and your extension settings are stored locally on your device using
Chrome's built-in storage system (chrome.storage). If you have Chrome Sync enabled, these settings
may act in accordance with your browser's sync settings to share your blocked list across your own devices, but
this data is not accessible to us.
The extension requires certain permissions (such as declarativeNetRequest and host permissions for
<all_urls>) solely to perform its core function: blocking the websites you specify. We do not
use these permissions to track your activity or collect data.
This extension does not use any third-party analytics, tracking services, or advertising networks.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users through the extension's update notes.
